Free courses to work in nursing homes
The General Foundation of the University of Salamanca (FGUSAL) launches a new call for free courses for workers in the nursing home sector who want to improve their professional skills. The courses, which will be carried out remotely, are aimed at workers from all over Spain and last 100 hours. Registration is open until November 19.
The initiative, which arises from the collaboration between the General Foundation of the University of Salamanca and the Public State Employment Service (SEPE) , is part of the 2019 Continuous Training Plan for Workers, and is aimed at promoting professional training in the nursing home sector . Workers interested in taking these free courses must register through the SEPE website.
Among the courses offered are Occupational Risk Prevention , Nursing Management , Socio-Health Care for Patients in Residences , Residence Management and Legislation Applicable to Nursing Homes . These are official certification online courses , which will be carried out through the Aulasam platform of the University of Salamanca.
