What studies do you have to have to be a warden?

To be a warden, you must have a high school diploma and pass an entrance exam for public service. However, having completed medium or higher Vocational Training studies in areas such as Health, Education, Administration or Social Work will also be valued . How old is it to be a warden

To be a porter in Spain, you must be at least 21 years of age and have an ESO degree or equivalent. However, there are many centers that request the Baccalaureate or the Intermediate Degree of Professional Training in Surveillance and Private Security.

As for training, there are 60-hour security guard courses that can be done in person or remotely. It is a specific training aimed at obtaining the qualification for the exercise of surveillance and private security.

To pass the course and obtain qualification, it is necessary to pass a theoretical and a practical exam. The first consists of 50 multiple choice questions on the Private Security Law, the applicable regulations, the Private Security Regulations, the weapons regulations, first aid and fire prevention.

Training as a security guard is mandatory to be able to practice this profession and, once the exams have been passed, registration must be requested in the Registry of Private Security Companies and Professionals (REPSE).
