When do you enter the second part of the scholarship?

The second part of the scholarship is entered on the same date that the first part is entered, once the student's admission to the university has been confirmed. If the student does not confirm their entry, the second part of the scholarship will not be entered.

When do the 2022-2023 scholarships enter?

Most of the scholarships are awarded for the following academic year, that is, for the year 2022-2023. Some scholarships are awarded earlier, such as Fulbright scholarships, which are awarded in the fall of the previous year. Other scholarships, such as the National Education Foundation Scholarships, are awarded in the summer of the current year.

Scholarships are generally awarded to students who have completed their final year of high school and are entering college. However, some scholarships may be awarded to freshman, sophomore, or graduate students.

When are the MEC 2022 scholarships paid

The MEC (Ministry of Education and Culture) scholarships are paid annually, in two installments: one in February and the other in August. To collect the scholarship, the beneficiary must be enrolled in an educational center and have completed at least 75% of the subjects of the previous year. If the beneficiary does not meet these requirements, the scholarship will be canceled or reduced based on the credits taken.

The amount of the scholarship will be reimbursed based on the credits passed in the previous course. To do this, the supporting documentation of the credits passed in the last course in which they were enrolled must be presented.

To collect the scholarship, the beneficiary must be up to date with the payment of his tax obligations and with Social Security. In the event that the beneficiary does not meet these requirements, the scholarship will be canceled or reduced based on the credits taken.

When do the €100 of the scholarship come in?

The 100 euros of the scholarship are deposited in the current account of the beneficiary at the beginning of each month of the academic year, from the month of September and until the month of June. The scholarship will be processed through the University's Economic and Social Aid Office, for which it will be necessary for the beneficiary to meet the established requirements and present the corresponding documentation.

In order to receive the scholarship, the student must:

• Be enrolled in the university in the academic year for which the scholarship is requested.
• Do not exceed the income limit established by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports to access State scholarships.
• Not be immersed in any criminal process or have a firm conviction for intentional crimes.
• Not have exceeded 25 years of age at the time of applying for the scholarship (except in the case of students with disabilities, in which case the age limit will be 35 years).
